Confluence datacenter in aws

Hi  Have the following error message when i deployed confluence data center on existing stack and i dont see any log folder in /var/atlassian/applicationdata/confluence/

and i dont see catalina.out in /opt/atlassian/confluence/current/conf/conluence/conf/  ?? and intially i spinned up one node and found this issue whwn i used the auto scaling to spin up the second node the nodes spin up but i see no application related files in /opt and /var and /media on second node the security group rules are same that comes with the stackno changes made.any help??

Try looking in the log directory for the logs, rather than the configuration directories.
