I can't seem to add Confluence Cloud to MS Teams. I can add Jira Cloud with no issues but Confluence Cloud states my permissions need reviewing and my request has gone to the Jira admin team. I have contacted them and they have said that they have not received any notifications.

I have spoken to my IT Admin for  MS and he has stated I am permissioned to use it however the Jira admin team have said they cannot assist. How do I fix this?

Hiii @Amitkumar Mandora

This usally means Atlassian app for confluence in MS Teams require admin consent even if jira was approved.

Ask your jira/confluence orgonization admin to check Atlassian Administratation --> Connected Apps to see if there is pending request they should also verify that confluence for MS Teams is enabled for your orgonization.

if no request is visible ask them to try removing and re-indexing and re-adding the confluenece app in teams or raise a support ticket with atlassian as the approval request may not have created correctly.

Hi @Amitkumar Mandora , this isn't really a Teams problem, it's that your account doesn't have Confluence access on the site. Jira added cleanly because you have Jira access; Confluence shows "permissions need reviewing" because it's raising an access request for a product you don't hold yet. The fix is on the Atlassian side, but with your Confluence or site admin, not the Jira admin team, since Jira admins aren't automatically Confluence admins. Ask them to grant your account Confluence access directly in admin.atlassian.com instead of waiting on the request email, which is often switched off or routed to the wrong person, which is exactly the "no notification" you're running into. The same case is discussed here: admin approval adding Confluence Cloud in MS Teams.
