Confluence Reset password LDAP directory

Hi,

I am trying to figure out if it's possible to reset passord on LDAP users via the Confluence forgot passord email.

We have AD as our user directory, i know there are other AD specific options to do this but we want to use confluence if it's possible.

I can't find any documentation on this and it's not working in our enviroment.

I get the following error when i try to reset the password of my AD account: An internal error occured when trying to change your password.

I'm guessing it's just configured for the confluence directory by default?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Bjørn,

You will need to modify your password reset link to go to a different page in order to reset via LDAP.

Have a look at How to change the forgot password link in Confluence to redirect to an alternate page for more information on this.
