I have a pair of PDFs generated by Visio (Save As PDF...)
Neither of them displays in the PDF macro (just a white block where the diagram should be, but the viewer buttons show up ok).
All text is English, and it's basic lines and boxes and text, black and blue on a white background.
Is this a known bug?
It is now several years after the original post, but I am on Confluence Cloud and am experiencing this same issue.
Is this still a known bug?
Is there a workaround?
For anyone else who might encounter this, I filed a ticket on this and the answer as of today (20 July 2015) is that embedding PDFs is still a known bug. The less-than-professional workaround that we are using for now is to embed the Attachment macro, which opens the PDF in a PDF viewer, assuming the reader has a PDF viewer installed.
