I'm not sure I understand this error message.
I'm testing it with a currently logged in user who definitely has permissions to confluence, and definitely is part of a group that grants "view" permissions to the space.
Confirmed that the page (the main page actually, it's the Overview) is set to Everyone can view
What am I missing?
This is strange though ~ As that user (my test user is Space Ghost). I'm able to see the article's author/editor, along with their picture and name.
Let's see...
1) This is a confluence page.
2) I'm not sure where the data from their "user profile" macro comes from.
3) I've tried Chrome, Safari, Brave, and Opera.
4) As far as seeing individual profiles, it doesn't give me much info. All I can see is the user name (which is fine, but the macro doesn't reveal that either).

Is the macro pulling content from other pages? And does the testing user have view rights to that content?

Hi Bill, the macro is the "user profile" macro (as well as the "profile picture" macro).

And the user is logged in, and not just viewing the page?

Correct~ It's a test account, and I was logged into it from Safari. Maybe it's a setting within my JIRA cloud for the user visibility? <scratches head>

But this is a Confluence page with the issue? Or are you pulling data from Jira?
Have you tried other browsers? And how are the permissions for this test user set? And can this test user browse other users when logged in (access the people directory and view profiles, especially the ones that are not displaying)?

I think we are at the point of needing the storage view of that top block. We need to see the exact configuration.
Also, what version of Confluence are you on?

Hi Bill, I'm on JIRA & Confluence Cloud.
What do you mean by "storage view" of the "top block" ?
