Hello,
sometimes it is important to see exactly which part of a wiki page has been edited/modified by whom. E.g. this could be done by colouring text differently. A little bit like the modification view in microsoft word.
How can this be done?
The version history is not really useful for this. Especially with pages with a lot of edits, it takes a long time to find out who added/changed what...
Any hint would be really appreciated!
Thanks,
Sven
One solution could be to use this existing view (which would compare the original with the last version):
/pages/diffpagesbyversion.action?pageId=12583787&originalVersion=2&revisedVersion=21
=> But e.g. on mouse-over over text it would display a tool-tip with the author of that line.
That would be already a great solution to our problem!
PS: Advanced question: If there is no existing solution, how could this be done? How to find out about a current page who changed what (to colour it accordingly)?

Hi There is this "history slider" plugin - I never got around to testing it completely, maybe that does your job.

Thanks for the answer. We use this plugin already, unfortunately there is no information about WHO changed what...
