Confluence DB/Whiteboard - Backup Disabled

For the Confluence Database feature in beta, it lists this as something to know.

Certain Confluence features such as Data Residency and Backup and Restore will not be supported for databases during the beta period.

Just wanted to confirm that this just means that the Backup will keep working for Confluence it will not include the Confluence Databases. We just wanted to make sure that the rest of our Confluence instance is safe in case something happens in the beta.

Also does anyone know if these features (DB and Whiteboard) are going to turn into paid features when they launch or will they be included as new functionality included with Confluence Cloud?

Whiteboards are enabled in the Product settings and will then be available globally for the site, e.g. for all Spaces on the site.

If you created a new Site and you are the Product Admin you can check the Confluence Settings for Beta Features
