Hi everyone,
We’re using Confluence Cloud and do not have Analytics enabled (Standard plan, no admin access).
I’m trying to find out if there is any native Confluence report that can show maybe with counts:
Pages created in the last year, and who created them
Pages updated in the last year, and who updated them
Ideally space-specific (e.g. CloudOps space)
I’m aware of CQL searches and would like to know how to use it and also:
Are there any built-in reports or macros that provide this information?
Or is this only possible via CQL / REST API / Marketplace apps? if so any document will be helpful.
Any guidance on the best native approach (or confirmation that this isn’t possible natively) would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!
Shaily.
The easiest way is to open Content Manager from the Space Settings:
You can set up columns as you like and filter pages in the space by time and contributor.
Thankyou @Kris Klima _K15t_
I’m not able to see Space settings or Content Manager in this space. I have been assigned as a Space Admin, so I can manage pages within the space, but I don’t appear to have access to those settings.
Could you please confirm which specific permission or role is required to access Content Manager? I can then request that access from our Confluence admin.
Thanks,
S

Well, I checked the official documentation and there's not a word about permissions.
What's funny is the claim that it's for Premium and Enterprise only. But I have a Standard license on my private Confluence and, clearly, I can use Content Manager so the documentation seems to be outdated.
My understanding is that in Standard, features are limited, but it still works as overview and filter tool.
I'd check with your Confluence Admin if they can see the feature. I'm a sole user on my Site so I cannot test access for non-space-admins.
There's also a free app called Pages Manager by Ricksoft, in case you don't have Content Manager on your site at all.

As mentioned by @Kris Klima _K15t_
This is the way to go, I can even use this on a Free Confluence instance.
Can you press the 3-dots besides the space name and select "Space Settings", if you can't you aren't a space admin.
Then you will have to ask the space admin or the Confluence admin.

Thankyou @Marc -Devoteam- and @Kris Klima _K15t_
I am could fine the space settings and use the content manager to list the contributor. Is it possible to share this as a report?

No not that I'm aware of or can find API options from to export this information.
There are open feature request for this:
CONFCLOUD-80043
CONFCLOUD-79175
A possible workaround, is to export a space, to CSV and in the exported content you'll have content.csv file. This file should contain information for pages such as the title, creator, last modified date...

Confluence Cloud doesn’t have native built-in reports for this on the Standard plan. Your best option natively is using CQL searches (e.g. created >= startOfYear() or lastmodified >= -365d) and exporting results, otherwise you’ll need the REST API or a Marketplace app for proper reporting.
