I am experiencing the following two issues with the Analytics report export screen in Confluence Cloud, and they are causing significant inconvenience.
When I set a date range for Analytics report export and then change the date range afterward, the “Export as CSV” button sometimes becomes grayed out and cannot be clicked. In other cases, even though the date range is changed, the exported data still reflects only the initially selected period. As a result, I must reload the page every time in order to change the date range correctly.
Although the export option is labeled “Export as CSV,” the actual exported file format is “.xlsx” instead of CSV.
I would appreciate it if these issues could be investigated and improved.

I believe there are some known inconsistencies with Analytics exports, including cases where the exported data does not match what is shown in the Analytics UI. Here's a suggestion partially related to it: CONFCLOUD-83210: Ensure exporting the Site Analytics report with the same values that match those shown in the Analytics UI
I couldn't find anything else in the public bug tracker that's currently open.
As for the CSV/xlsx part, it appears to be a system issue, and as Brant said, the recommendation would be to reach out to Atlassian Support and report it to them. They can, at least, open a new bug report and share the link with you so you can set yourself as a watcher. 👀
Atm, if you specifically need CSV, you may need to convert the .xlsx file manually for now.

@Yasuda Yuya for the first issue I am not able to recreate. What browser are you using?
For the second you would need to submit it to Atlassian support but I don't think they will change it.
