I'm trying to build a monthly Confluence report to show the overall health of our instance, and then by space (we have spaces set up my department). I've used many analytics platforms over the years and Confluence's is pretty rough. Not really built to easily report out on some of the basics. Looking for anyone that might have found success in this area and could advise OR if anyone has experience using a 3rd party analytics tools on Confluence I'd be interested in hearing about your experience.
Hello @Kath Skerry
I do this exact thing using Easy Bi for Confluence. I was able to set up teams even so each manager could get a quick look at the content health of their team at a team level, and also at an individual level.
Highly recommend this app. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
Hey @Kath Skerry ,
Just curious here - which plan are you on (assuming we're talking about cloud)?
I'm asking because there are two different analytics options - the first is by using Confluence's native feature (what Dan mentioned), and the second is related to Enterprise plan.
If using Atlassian Analytics I guess some more 'advanced' dashboards could be built. 👀
Cheers,
Tobi

Hi @Kath Skerry
It sounds like you’re looking for more robust reporting than Confluence’s built-in analytics. If your goal is monthly health reports at both the overall instance and per-space level, you might want to look into Viewtracker.
Viewtracker is designed specifically for Confluence. It provides detailed insights into page views, space activity, and user engagement over time, and makes it easy to generate reports that show trends and health metrics at both the instance and space levels. Many teams find it especially useful for spotting underused content or tracking adoption across departments.
If your reporting needs include visual dashboards, historical trends, and space-level analytics, it could be a good fit.
You can book a demo here to see if it fits your use case.

You may want to try the various reports offered by the Better Content Archiving app.
All those are available for the whole Confluence site and for individual spaces. For content health, these are the most relevant ones.
It monitors how content status evolves over time, helping you identify trends and areas for improvement.
---
It shows the number of pages and blog posts by status and space, helping you quickly identify outdated content. It's the ideal tool for prioritizing updates and rewrites, ensuring your content stays current, relevant, and valuable to users.

There are further reports for various analytics, user engagement and such. Try these free on your site.
(Discl. it is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users.)

Hi @Kath Skerry welcome to the community. I'm not sure if you're using Confluence Data Center or Confluence Cloud. If you have Confluence Cloud Premium or Enterprise, there are some Analytics available. Here's an article from Atlassian regarding that: view-analytics-to-see-how-content-is-performing
If you don't have that particular license, there may be some marketplace addons available.
Hope that helps.
