I was testing the newly released Confluence LTS 8.5 for our next upgrade.
The new version has some cool features/UI like space/site re-indexing.
Space/Site import, new emojis, etc
However when trying to import a test space into Confluence 8.5, the process completes but nothing happens.
I have tried to do this on one of our test instance which was upgraded from 7.19.9 to 8.5 and then also on new install of Confluence 8.5 on laptop.
Both of them reach 100% import status and then return to the main menu.
Did any of you face a similar issue?

This seems to only happen when we are accessing Confluence from a Windows client machine.
This definitely seems to be a bug. I will test a few more things and will update with you a bug ticket.
Looks like the issue is when you try to import the space zip from your local drive.
If you try to import it from 'Restore Directory', it works.
Checking further with Atlassian on this behavior.
