Hello All,
I got a project where I have to update confluence 5.6 to 5.10 in order to install the Cloud migration assistance app on confluence (The Client wants to migrate on Confluence Cloud).
I tried to upgrade and follow the Confluence documentation. After several fixes, I came to this point where I got this page when I start confluence:

@Muhammad Shiraz Alam Khan As suggested by @Benjamin , you should raise a support ticket for your upgrade errors/issues at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ to get dedicated support for your issues.
@Kris Yes, upgrading from version 5.6 to at least version 5.10 or above, is a requirement before installing and using Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant for migrating from Confluence Server to Cloud.
Please refer to the below documents related to Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant for more details on pre-migration requirements and how to use the migration assistant:
https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/confluence-pre-migration-checklist/
Hope this helps answer your queries!
Upgrading between those 2 version should not be an issue. You may want to consider to contact Atlassian Support on behalf of your client.

Hello @Benjamin ,
I'm too planning to migrate Confluence 5.6 to the Cloud and uncertain if this migration path is supported at all.
@Muhammad Shiraz Alam Khan's comment suggest that Confluence server 5.6 must be first upgraded to 5.10 before it can be migrated to the Cloud or before Cloud Migration Assistance app can be installed.
Can I please get a definitive answer if this is indeed a requirement?
Thanks,
Kris
