Confiforms: Form Parent/Child relationships: Create and display?

David Harrop November 19, 2024

I have a form, let's call it 'Report'.  As part of this report, there may be 0...n Findings.

I would like to be able to create a Finding from a button in Report, and have Finding be a child of Report.

Also, any Findings should be displayed in a table in Report.

I had tried 2 Form Definitions in my page, and can get the Finding to pop-up, but it won't display as per Registration Controls, nor will it save as a child to the Parent (saves but isn't in navigator).

I've been informed that Confiforms does not support subforms (see my only other post).  The attached image shows a simplified example of what I'm trying to achieve.

Any suggestions or examples for how I can achieve this goal?
