Does Confiforms support dispositioning of comments, e.g., declined, in progress, resolved?
I know I can build a "sub-form" for running comments against a given record but that seems to be a bit heavy for simple dispositioning.
I'd really love to see the backlog too, but understand that is just for partners (a boy can dream though can't he).
Hi
What kind of comments are you talking about @Chris Iacovelli ?
Confluence page comments? Or inline comments that you can have inside ConfiForms record? On ConfiForms server edition there is a "comment" field type that covers the latter
Alex
@Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ the comment is inline as a Comment field data type.
On our server/data center implementation, I see that there is the ability to delete comments but I do not see the capability to disposition them as mentioned in my original post (full of ambiguities and vagueness).
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Probably I dont understand your idea around "dispositioning of comments"... I guess, there is no functionality your are looking for, sorry

dispositioning means the marking through a comment lifecycle, e.g., reviewed, resolved, incorporated, not incorporated, WIP, completed, ...
similar to what confluence does about an inline comment. i gives people the ability to respond inline to the comment, have discussions back and forth, and then mark the comment as resolved.
a guy can wish for the moon and the stars but still be happy with what he can get :)

In this case it should be something like a separate form that tracks the "dispositioning"... Comments in ConfiForms are for capturing comments - they dont act as an inline tasks

@Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ i was hoping for an easy out here. already starting down the path of sep form for managing the lifecycle around comments. thanks for confirming.
