Hello,
I'm having some troubles understanding how "comments" work in the approval popup.
When someone send a document for approval, there's a field (that we never set, so I believe it's native) where you can write a comment.
We though it was to give some additional information in the notification that was sent to the person who's suppose to approve the document. But we only see the comment in the "page activity".
Can you help me find how to setup this correctly ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Nathalie
Hi @Bernard Mortreu (or is it Nathalie?). The "comment" field in the workflow dialog box is meant to allow reviewers to add a comment when they give their approval. It is not meant to communicate information to the next assigned reviewer.
If you're trying to send a customized message to an approver when they are assigned, you could use a email, which can be trigged by our app? You can learn more about that feature here.
Let me know if I can assist you any further!
