Hi,
I am trying to create charts(for reporting purpose) based on data present in a table(which is located on a page in a different space).
Is it possible to do this operation without using any third party macros?
Thanks in advance!
Hello Ash and welcome to the Community!
The simple answer for your question is, No. Not out of the box without Add-Ons.
The long answer is the chart macro is designed to render a table within the macro as a chart. It will not allow a seed excerpt table to be rendered. If you copy the table from your other page into the chart macro it should work, depending on the format of the table.
Add-Ons will extend the use of the char macro. I have had success in using SQL macros to pass data into a chart macro and then draw multiple graphs and charts.
Here is the documentation for the Chart Macro to see use case examples.
I hope this clarifies how to use the chart macro and answers your question.

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the detailed reply. Does Atlassian intend to implement such functionality in future?
Cheers!

Hello Ash,
There are multiple add-ons available in the marketplace which add this functionality. Along with this, there was a feature request (CONFSERVER-52764) which has since been closed out.
If you feel this should still be explored then you are welcome to create a new Feature Request and submit your use case.
