Chart Macro - Line Chart With Dates for X and Y Axis

Hi,

Thanks everyone for your attention on my issue. 

I'm using following table to generate a chart

Basic idea is to track the delivery estimations for multiple projects over time. 

This is the generated chart. As you can see my project 1, project 2 columns are not picked up as date values rather decimal values. 

Is it even possible in line chart options to have a date value y axis ?

Hi @Lakmal Padmakumara ,

It seems that there are no line charts with both X and Y date scales.

For similar purposes (to track multiple projects and their milestones) try to use a Gantt chart.

You'll be able to find its simple version in the standard Chart macro or a more advanced one in the Chart from Table macro provided by the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.

Thanks for your answer. I'm not so sure whether gantt chart is the right match for my use case.  Use case is to see how often are our delivery estimations are deviating. 

It's unfortunate that we cannot configure the type of the y axis to a date.  

We don't have access to Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.
