Carousel (Updated): Remove button entirely

How do I completely remove the button from the carousel macro? I want to just use an image without the button (text) overlay on top of the image. I can hover over the "Trash Can" icon, but it's disabled. 

Can I make the text color and background transparent?

Custom CSS injection via stylesheet is not possible in in confluence cloud as in DC, you can use any of the below options

• Faux Invisible Overlay
  • In the Carousel macro editor, set the Title and Button texts to a single space character ( )
  • In the Background color picker, choose white (#ffffff)
  • In the Text color picker, also choose white (#ffffff)
• Use third party Carousel macro
  • Content Formatting Macros for Confluence (Adaptavist) – contains an Image Slider macro with no text overlay.
  • Scroll Carousel (K15t) – supports pure-image slides with full control over captions/buttons.
