Cards in the Deck of Cards macro are not showing up

I am creating a page that has several cards in the deck of card macro and have placed the Composition Set up macro at the top of the page.

Deck of Cards Primary level image: 

Within some of the individual cards, I am again using the deck of cards/card macros - layout as follows:

Section, Column, Panel, Deck of Cards, Card.  AND

Section, Deck of Cards, Card

Deck of Cards Secondary Level: 

My issue is that some of my card labels are not showing on a couple of my sections - only the grey line shows, but not the labels above it. My set up has been consistent and I haven't had any issues with most of the other cards.

Any thoughts on why this is happening in some instances by not others?

When you say instances do you mean different confluence servers or spaces on a single server?
