Cannot publish edited page, no error message

I'm trying to publish some edits. Whenever I click the button, I get a gray overlay with a spinning circle and a stuck balloon tip. Using the key combination to publish causes the same effect. I'm stuck on quite a few pages this way and don't know what to do. The same happens to users with admin rights and on different machines and browsers. The page uses several macros such as "page properties" and "include page", but so do other pages that work without a hitch.

Any clue what might be going on here?

Thanks Matthias, will do. I also believe this is a bug.

I also found a fix: Just refresh the page in editing mode (press F5) and then it works. It seems that this bug is triggered in pages that have unpublished edits by multiple people.

That sounds like a bug to me and I recommend to report it to the Atlassian support instead of the Community so that they might have a look at your instance and this exact page to troubleshoot the problem.
