Cannot get connected via WebDAV

I am seeing inconsistent behaviour when trying to connect via webdav.

I can connect using transmit on Mac OSX without any problems.

I have managed to configure several Windows 7 machines to connect by applying KB907306 but NOT by adding the UseWebFolders DWORD to the registry.

It seems to me that there are conflicting instructions on how to configure webdav with Windows.

Please can you provide me with definitive instructions on how to configure webdav with Windows 7 - I need this for our company rollout.
