Cannot create or edit new pages after upgrading to 7.13.1 (from 7.5.2)

Andreas Ebneter September 30, 2021

After Updating Confluence (due to security reasons) to 7.13.1 from 7.5.2 I cannot create or edit pages anymore. Every time I try to create or edit pages I see the following error in catalina.out:

A servlet request, to the URI https://admin.xxxxxx.ch/xxxxx/rest/table-filter/1.0/service/license?_=XXXXXXXX, contains form parameters in the request body but the request body has been consumed by the servlet or a servlet filter accessing the request parameters. Only resource methods using @FormParam will work as expected. Resource methods consuming the request body by other means will not work as expected.

As this interrupts important processes, I would urgently need help.

Thanks.

We found the problem in the meantime.

I had to cleanup the plugins cache, etc. directories because synchrony was not startet correctly after the update.

Thanks

Hi @Andreas Ebneter ,

I see you've got a couple Starter licenses on your account and are ineligible to open an Atlassian support case for these starter licenses.

The URL that's throwing the error is part of the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app by Stiltsoft. First I would recommend updating the app in the Manage apps page in Confluence's administration. If it's already up to date, you could also try disabling the app temporarily.

Once that's done, give editing a page another shot and see if it works correctly.

If an app update itself didn't fix it but disabling the app did, I would recommend reaching out to Stiltsoft support for assistance with the app.

Cheers,
