So I'm a new Confluence user (currently on trial), and I cannot seem to do very simple things when it comes to formatting.
First, when I've pasted data into a page, there seems to be a very annoying issue when it comes to line breaks. In the "edit" view of my page, I've tried to literally place 20 lines in between a paragraph. The minute I go back to the view, it's directly underneath each other. Very frustrating.
Secondly, I just have a basic page that shows a table. I'm trying to center the table in the page, as well as its cell contents. I can't do it. I have tried to insert a "center" block and then place a table in there, and sometimes it wants to center the cell contents, and sometimes it doesn't. For example, if I select a cell and hit the center alignment button, nothing happens. If I hit the right center alignment button, then it swings all the way to the right.
Am I doing something wrong? I've used tens of text editors, wiki platforms, and more, and have never had this much trouble doing basic tasks such as centering content or even battling line breaks.
I saw some plugins to edit the source code, but they all cost; completely ridiculous.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I'm seriously considering purchasing this for my company, but if doing such minor things like this is this difficult, I have a feeling this platform is going to drive me insane. Furthermore, I am using the cloud option, so this is not a local instance.
