Cannot activate calendar option for confluence cloud

Page https://confluence.atlassian.com/teamcalcloud/create-add-and-edit-calendars-909903933.html clearly states that I can both connect calendars (such as google or other ICS) and insert some native calendar function, in CLOUD version.

 

 

  • Create a calendar in a space – Hit  in the space sidebar, then choose Calendar in the create dialog (choose the right space too, if you're not already there)
  • Create a calendar in My Calendars – Choose Calendars in the Confluence sidebar to go to your My Calendars page, then hit Add Calendar at the top-right of the page

 

But the menu options I need to follow are not avaialbale on the pages I can see.

Is the documentation incorrect, or am I being stupid (probably the latter)?

Hi Richard!

Happy to help. The documentation you found is for Confluence Team Calendars and so you will need to add this to your instance before you proceed.

You can go to Discover New Applications under your Site Administration menu, where you will find Team Calendars for Confluence and can start your free trial.
