Can you use an exerpt from another space?

When creating an Exerpt in Space A, can this Exerpt then be used in a different Space eg. Space B within the same organization?

Hey @Tracey ,

Yes - once you create an excerpt, you can insert it into multiple pages across different spaces. I'd recommend checking this official article when it comes to inserting excerpts: Add excerpts to a page or live doc with the insert excerpt macro 

Also, as stated in the article, there's a new feature called "synced blocks" rolling out to all sites, which is like an improved version of excerpt functionality.

Thanks for some reason I can insert an Exerpt from Space B to Space A.  But I cannot insert from Space B to Space A.  I created a new page in Space A and added an exerpt on that page. When trying to use that new Exerpt in Space B, it couldn't find the new page I recently created. I have used an older page and it now works. Thank you

@Tracey yeah... there's sometimes a bit of a delay (from my experience). New excerpts aren't immediately visible when you try to insert them, but it takes a couple of minutes for those to show up. 👀
