Can you use a Blueprint Template as a basis for a new template?

Diana Mitten November 13, 2019

There are styles I like in the Marketing Campaigns Blueprint Template.  Can I use that and make changes and save under a new name?

Hello Diana,

Thank you for contacting us about this.

Blueprints are different from templates, in that they are developed to perform a specific task with a collection of templates. It's not possible for you to modify the blueprint, but you can edit the individual templates that the blueprint is using. For more information, have a look at Blueprints and User Created Templates > Edit Templates.

If you want to create your own blueprint, you can do so if you have familiarity development experience. It does require programming background to do so. For more information, see Confluence Cloud Blueprints.

We have a feature request below for a blueprint builder that wouldn't require such skills:

Have a look at that and let me know if you have any questions about that!

Regards,

Shannon
