Can you create a "Create from Temnplate" macro using a User Created Template?

I have created and saved a User Created Template for oue of our Confluence Cloud spaces. However, when I try to create a page with a macro button using the Create from Template macro, my new template doesn't appear in the Template Name dropdown. What am I doing wrong?

I tested this and it works fine with a user-created template.

What I did notice though is the user-created template does not appear in the drop-down list alphabetically, it appears right at the bottom.

Can you check the bottom of the list for your template?

Ah yes, you're right, thanks. I hadn't looked down there as they all seemed to be in alphabetic order!
So I solved the problem by "promoting" the template that I created and it now appears last of the set of promoted templates at the top. But weirdly all the other (non-promoted) templates are now in reverse alphabetic order!! I can live with that...!
