Hi there!
I recently noticed that Confluence sometimes shows glitch-style fireworks (or confetti?) after certain actions like creating your first page. It absolutely made my day.
Is there any way to enable this kind of celebration **every time I publish or save a page**?
It may sound silly, but honestly — those tiny bursts of visual joy are incredible for motivation. I'm neurodivergent and often work alone on documentation, and this kind of positive feedback really helps me keep going. Like, gamified dopamine for adults 😅
If there's no way to make it permanent, is there a setting, a user macro, a browser extension — or should I submit this as a feature request?
Thanks in advance! I truly believe this would bring a lot of delight to the community 💖
Hi, @Anetta Aksenova 👋
Sadly, no - there's no built-in way to trigger confetti every time you publish/save in Confluence. Jira does have a Chrome extension for confetti 🎉, but I haven’t tried it myself yet.
That said, I love the idea of more little celebrations in tools like this - they really do brighten the day! 💖
You should totally submit it as a feature request - I'd vote for it! ✅
Hi, @Anetta Aksenova ,
Not silly at all—I’d absolutely vote for a feature like that too 🙂 You’re spot on!
Confluence doesn’t currently offer a built-in way to trigger those celebration effects every time you publish or update a page.
But while experimenting with an app we’re developing, I managed to recreate something similar. It’s a user macro that adds a little splash of joy (in the form of confetti bursts and a message) whenever a page is saved with changes. ✨
If you’re curious, I’d be happy to share details or help set it up. Maybe it could bring some extra fun and motivation into your workflow too!
