Can't view shared pages

I have been given access to a page by my colleague, but I still can't access it. Everything is as per the documentation, don't know what's the issue. Same is happening when I am sharing pages with others, they are not able to access it either. I have already cross checked everything with the documentation.

Are other pages from the space visible to you?

It seems like you should check the space permissions and view restrictions of the parent page, as such restrictions are inherited by child pages. Check out this doc: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/page-restrictions-139414.html
