Can't seem to remove sections in this new editor version

When I hover over the remove action on sections it highlight ALL the sections. I am unable to just select the section I want to remove :( is that a bug?

I miss the LEGACY EDITOR!!! the Page Layout feature was easier to use and easy to remove and add sections. Why did that get removed?

I'm sorry to hear you're having so much trouble with the new editor. Unfortunately, section editing is not possible in the new editor. However, two feature requests are gathering interest on reintroducing sections macros:

• CONFCLOUD-68508 Section Macro in the New Editor
• CONFCLOUD-67648 Additional options for page layouts

Do you know if you currently have the Legacy editor template on your site? If you don't, I'm happy to enable it for you. Of course, I would need to create a support ticket to approve access to the site, but I can add it for you once I do that.

Hi Shannon!

Thank you for getting back to me, so when I started the initial account, it looks like the example pages has the Legacy Editor, so I can possibly do a clone of it (since I haven't deleted those pages yet). Otherwise I'll just manage with the New Editor for now and hopefully confluence can reintroduce those section macros sooner than later! :-)

Thank you for your reply! When you create a new page, see if you can find a template called "Legacy editor template". That will allow you to create new pages in the legacy editor.

If you don't have it, and after trying with the new editor, you decide you need the legacy editor template, follow up with me here, and I'll be happy to create that ticket for you.
