I would like to embed MS Excel file on the page. I add it as attachment and then use Office Excel macro as explained in https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/office-excel-macro-375849173.html
But I don't see any parameters for this macro, and in the page it looks like some very bad and unusable preview. While I need to see it and, as the next step, have an option to edit it. Here I even can't normally view it. What is wrong with the macro? Are there any limits for the cloud-based project?
Hi @Alexey Gerasimovich ,
Try to browse Atlassian Marketplace - there should be free mini apps that allow you to embed CSV files or Google Spreadsheets right onto Confluence pages. Then you may edit the source table and the result table in Confluence will be updated at once.
Our own app (Table Filter and Charts for Confluence) is a paid one - it's a complex add-on for data filtration, aggregation, visualization and table calculations. But it also provides the Table from CSV macro that works pretty similar as my description above.
I know that I can use other apps, but I am curious why the official one doesn't work, even if there is a guide how to use it properly
