Hello,

I'm an admin of my confluence site and I'd like to change the server base URL.

Although when I go to the General Configuration page and try to edit it, the Server Base URL is greyed out and am told I need to ask a System Admin to make this change ...  even though I'm the system admin.

Any help would be welcome.

Is this Server or Cloud?

If it is server, then you are not in the system admin group - you'll need to check global permissions to see what groups are named and ask an admin to add you.

If it's Cloud, then you are not a system admin, you're a Confluence admin.  System admin is reserved for Atlassian support only, and you cannot change the base url here, you have to buy a new Cloud system and migrate the data from the old one.
