Can't Import a Space from an Old Confluence Instance

Hi all.  I have a Confluence 5.7 server instance, which I know is very old.  After putting it off for years, I finally decided I didn't have the time or the expertise anymore to upgrade.  

So I went for the free Confluence Cloud, but when I export a space from my instance and try to import it into the Cloud version, I get the attached error.   Any help would be appreciated.

I'm afraid your version of Confluence is too old for export and import, you'll need to upgrade it and export again.  You won't have to do a massive upgrade to the latest version if that's a lot of trouble, but I'd recommend getting it up to at least 6.latest.

There is another option though - temporarily install a new, empty confluence server on the latest version, and import the space into that, then export it again and import it into Cloud.  The server versions are more forgiving of exports from old spaces than Cloud is.

Does the error say anything at all ? Like more info on why it is failing ?

Did you do full xml backup of site or just one space xml backup ?

You may have to upgrade to atleast 5.10.x version and then there is an Cloud Migration Assistant which is cool app that helps in migrating of data to cloud.
