The upgrade instructions here:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/upgrading-confluence-4578.html
state to check the compatibility of your add-ons before upgrade. And that the update check tool should be at the bottom of the page after going to Settings->Manage Apps (or on the Confluence version we're using we suspect the equivalent is Settings->Add-Ons):
"scroll down to the Confluence Update Check to check the compatibility of your Marketplace apps."
But it's not there on version 6.6.0
After some googling, the next best article I found was this:
And it said in Settings->Add-Ons to:
"Click (Product name) update check from the bottom of the page. For example, this might be Confluence update check or JIRA update check"
But again, there is no such thing at the bottom of the page on Confluence 6.6.0.
In short, where the heck do I find the Confluence Update Check feature in Confluence 6.6.0? Also, can the documentation be updated with perhaps some screenshots and/or more descriptive/accurate description on where to find this feature in 6.6.0?
Brad,
The article you linked to is for the latest Confluence version (6.14). If you want the instructions for 6.6.0 then you need to select 6.6 from the top menu.
The instructions on that article differ:
Go to
> Add-ons and scroll down to the Confluence Update Check to check the compatibility of your add-ons.
Choose the version you plan to upgrade to then hit Check.
Can you have a look and see if that applies to your instance?
Regards,
Shannon
By the way, this is how it will look:
If you don't see that, can you please show me what links you have at the bottom of your UPM? (This is the page you get to when you click Add-ons from the menu).
Regards,
Shannon

Ah! Didn't realize there was a way to change versions of the article to match version of Confluence, makes sense. Thanks Sahnnon! We've already done the upgrade and no longer have 6.6.0 so can't check what it looks like on 6.6.0

Brad,
No worries, at least you can use this information in the future. :)
Take care,
