Hi Team - i am a project manager and run into an issue quite often where my team logs its documents on their Confluence page, and then i have to download and upload to my confluence page. Is there a way to just copy those documents over from one confluence page to another one without downloading and re-uploading them?

You can use the attachments macro on your page to show the attachments from anther page. Really, the best way to manage documents in Confluence is to single source it. There should only be one version of the document and then you simply link to that one version, or use macros like the attachments macro that can work with that one version.
