Can custom Statuses be used in Atlassian Automation?

I have noticed some weird things when attempting to use Status of a confluence page with the Confluence Status Automation trigger. Only the original page status offerings are available. 

So what is missing are the customer user made status, and the admin made status suggestions. 

Is this by design, is there a feature request to fix this, am i not configuring something correctly, do i need to wait for a system refresh to update data since it appears to only pull from suggestions?

Where did you create the page status values?

There is a known defect for this symptom, and the workaround is to create the status values at the Space level in the settings.  To learn more, please look here:
