Can a Database read another confluence document and update fields automatically.

Hello, we are utilizing confluence database, the main use case we are using is for a company roadmap, and using cards view for the data base. We have individual confluence pages that outline updates on individual projects. Is there a way for the database field to be updated automatically based on what is entered in the confluence pages? Basically if a PDM updated the status in the confluence page, can we make it reflect that in a database field? So PDMs only have to update one spot, and the page is that spot.
