Our company regularly updates the base document that drives the content on our confluence page. If I upload a the document to the page, can I link the content on the page to a specific section in the document, and when the content of the document changes, upload the new document so the page will automagically update without the need to update the individual sections?

@joseph jones Welcome to the Atlassian community

If you are updating a Confluence page then you can create excerpts and have those excerpts on pages.  Then you only have to update one page and all the pages are updated.  https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-excerpt-macro/

If you link to a page you can add a page anchor https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-anchor-macro/

If you are uploading a word document or converting a word document to a new page then there would not be a way to accomplish this.
