I have the need, that I want to get the whole description of a JIRA ticket shown on a confluence page.

I know how to refer the ticket by using the JIRA macro
AND I also know, that there exists the possibility for a table to be generated by this macro
BUT, when I select "Description" as the only displayed column, it still not display me, what I want to see (the whole Description of the JIRA ticket).

My current solution is, that I copy the whole Description "manually" and fill it into my Confluence page - but that is not the way I would like to use it.

Therefore my request, if someone has an automated solution (so that I just need to select the ticket by its "key" and the Description will appear in Confluence) OR the developer of Atlassian will take this as a request of a new feature, to have in some weeks such an automated solution.

Hi @Hans-Joachim_Lukas and welcome to the Community.  The Jira issue/filter macro should do this for you.  Does your setting look similar to below?
