Can I access the page attachments after deleting the Confluence page?

I have a Release Page in my Organization's Confluence. It contains multiple releases of several related components (software modules), altogether around 150-200 attachments.

Now I am trying to refactor it, by moving releases of each component into its separate page. However, I am not reattaching the attachments, rather I am just copying the table containing releases of one component to that component's release page. The table will contain links to the release files attached to original page. 

Finally we want to delete the original release page.

My question is that, if I delete the original page while the new refactored pages contain the links to attachments attached/uploaded to original page, will these attachments be accessible after deletion?

Attachments are deleted as part of the page they are attached to.

So, no, you'll need to copy or move the attachments if you want to keep using them.

As I mentioned earlier, I have a lot of attachments.

Is there a way I can move them selectively and in bulk?

No, you'll need to move them by hand.  A bulk edit can't know where you want to put each one.

Of course, you could cheat and leave them where they are - move the page they are attached to into a space that you're going to keep and the users will all be able to see, then just carry on serving them from that page (even if you remove all the page content).  It's not uncommon to see Confluence spaces that have "resource" type pages that don't contain real contain, but act as a shared attachment store.

Thanks for the solution. I will do it that way. I will convert the original page into Resource page and then make it a sibling page of rest of the individual release pages.
