I've created a database in Confluence which houses key dates from various departments and have these sitting in Database. It has column which capture information such as; Date (Start & End), Time (Start & End), Title, Description, Business Unit.
I'd like to view these in some sort of calendar, planning tool view.
What are my options?
The 'Team Calendars' macro has a beautiful looking timeline, but I don't get how to import my data and link the database with the Calendar as a live view.
While this is focused on Confluence database integration, for those looking for an easy, live calendar solution without relying on Confluence, platforms like Calendar Vibe offer seamless event management with real-time updates and customizable views. It’s a great alternative for businesses wanting a standalone, user-friendly calendar experience."
Hi @Konnie Koliopoulou ,
I checked this yesterday, but I couldn't find any open suggestions related to this on JAC (public tracking system for Atlassian apps).
Anyway, as there are not many APIs for databases, I don't think you'll be able to get that as well.
Maybe someone else has stumbled upon something like that, but I would say this is quite a specific request. 👀
What you could do is reach out to Atlassian Support and discuss it further with them.
Maybe they could offer some advice or a workaround, and, potentially, they could open a new feature suggestion based on your use case.
Cheers,
Tobi
