Did you mean:

CTRL+V pastes entire page into itself. This is undesirable.

I'm using an Ubuntu 14.04 system and Firefox 61 web browser to access Confluence 6.0.7 hosted on a closed network (no Internet). My issue is that whenever I press CTRL+V to paste into a page and the copy buffer is empty, the entire page is pasted into itself. Since the page can be quite lengthy, this results in a long delay. Undoing the mistake with CTRL+Z also takes quite a while.

Can Confluence be configured to NOT do this. I would like it if the copy buffer is empty and CTRL+V is pressed, nothing is pasted into the page.

Thank you.
