The FAQ on How to Determine the Number of Attachments in My Confluence Instance proved very useful but has led me to my next question. Is there a CQL command which would allow me to determine the attachment counts per mimetype?
The answer to this question will be used to determine whether I should integrate confluence with another search system.
Thanks for any consideration.
Lewis
Hi Lewis,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Checking our supported fields using the Advanced searching using CQL, currently there is no option to search for specific files mime types such as .pdf, .jpeg and etc.
Although it works using https://<sitename>.atlassian.net/wiki/search?type=attachment&text=.jpeg in my test site for example, it might not be accurate, since it searches for the text that contains the extension file name there.
Give it a try and see if that works for you! Additionally, we have this feature request to be able to find attachment types in the search/cql:
Hope that helps, Lewis!
Cheers,
Jessica
