Recently I cannot edit Confluence pages anymore.

Automatically lots of blank spaces are integratedleerzeilen.JPG

or as soon as I start writing it is inserted multiple times (it does never stop, you have to close the page)

It is not only with my user, also my colleagues have the same problem. We work with the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome.

How can I find help?

Hello @Sabine_Ameshofer !

The behavior you described is really unconventional. I tried to replicate it but ultimately was unable to. Since we do not have a step by step on how to replicate this behavior we can check few things, Here we go:

  1. If the behavior is present in other pages than the affected one.
  2. If newly created pages show the same behavior once we try to edit them the second time.
  3. If using incognito/private mode on your browser yields the same results.

I am also curious about the machine and operating system where you and your colleague tested this behavior:

  1. What operating system was used to achieve this behavior?
  2. Was the test (for both you and your colleague) ran using the same computer?
  3. Is there any kind of macro or plugin added to the problematic page?
  4. Which version of the editor is the affected page using?

In Confluence Cloud we have two editors, the New Editor (Fabric) and the Old Editor (tinyMCE). You differentiate them by their toolbars:
