Background:

Currently using Jira to track projects with the "component/s" field to classify/tag the projects.

Example: this project is "Red", "Dog", "Fast".

Project details are handled within Confluence, and linked with its Jira project with the Jira macro pulling the current information onto the page. Very much like the automated updates so the tracking information only needs to be managed within Jira.

Define problem:

Create a confluence homepage that searches the current space for all project pages that can quickly narrow the search down. These confluence pages will be tagged/labeled/classified such as the example given above. Searching for a method of tagging these pages in an automated/sustainable way.

Share steps already taken:

1) Utilize the Jira macro already connected to each page to filter the project pages by its "component/s"

* Page properties macro with Jira macro inside does not pull info from Jira

2) Page properties

* This seems more manual and a duplication of the current labeling in Jira. There is also no control over the entries.

3) Confluence page labeling

* This seems more manual and a duplication of the current labeling in Jira. There is also no control over the labeling.
