I need help getting the automation message when a page is updated, to show:
Is this possible in confluence automation?
You should be able to use the smart values to do this in a message to the owner of the page or a set of users.
Here is a Confluence Smart Values and automation with smart values
You can give notification via email and or slack.
@Aaron Geister_Sentify - The user name is easy enough to pull - curious if there's a smart value for history/changes? (not seeing an obvious one)
e.g. this gets me the name/page
It looks like {{page.author.FullName}} made a change to {{page.title}}.

That looks correct to me @Robert Hean
Sorry getting back to this one so late. I hope those links helped and if this answered your question please mark as answered so other community members can benefit from the answer.

Is there any way to get notification about the actual content that is being updated? Something like when you do a diff between two versions. Couldn't find anything under Smart Values.

@akos.varga
I believe if you are watching those pages you should get updates on those changes and be able to check the diff between the pages once you get notified. I think you have to look at the diff as I didn't see the smart value to check or show the diff in a notification but I could be wrong.
