Automate Confluence Checklists into JIRA issues

Hi there,

We have created custom checklists in our Confluence spaces that are owned and completed by various staff in our team. I'm trying to find a way of moving the checklists into JIRA to create a set of tasks / issues - some of these are run on a daily / weekly / monthly schedule and have links to various other pages and registers. These are generally admin-related checklists, some are also for recruitment and reporting, so not directly linked to development projects.

At the moment, the checklist is copied in Confluence to a new page and saved with the correct date then completed. To move these items into JIRA I have to manually create a task, then create and assign the sub-tasks (for example, the prep for a new starter coming on board) which is time-consuming and has to be repeated in every instance. Are there any add-ons or other apps that could allow us to produce the checklist in JIRA as tasks and sub-tasks each time a new copy is saved?

I have looked at the Manifestly + Zapier integration, but this would require running 2 additional apps that we don't currently use and then setting up all the checklists in Manifestly again. I would, if possible, like to avoid having to re-create all of the checklists in another platform, but if it integrates well with JIRA would happily consider it.

We also host JIRA and Confluence on server so some add-ons aren't available to us by the looks of things.

I don't have any technical knowledge and have only been using JIRA and Confluence for 1.5 months so please keep this in mind when providing any answers.

Thanks!
