We are running Confluence 4.1.4 and I am running into a problem with the attachments plugin as it will not expand (when the arrow is clicked) to show previous versions.
I know this has been address in the latest downloadable plugin version (3.3.2), however it says it is only suitable for Confluence 4.2 - 4.2.1.
Does this mean I shouldn't upload it for use with our Confluence version? What would happen? Is it actually possible to upload 1 new system plugin?
You'll have to excuse me as I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to system plugins / updates etc. =)
Hi Steve,
if it is not suitable for your version, I wouldn't use it. At least, you have to try it in a test environment and test carefully.
I would rather upgrade to a newer Confluence Version
Best regards
Thomas
I thought that may be the direction I would be given.
I'm taking it, it would be dangerous to upgrade the plugin, and if it didn't work correctly, go back to the previous version (if that is possible?) again?

that' s one of the things you have to test. Sorry that I've got no better answer for you.
