Attaching Word Documents

We want to use confluence for technical documentation we have already prepared in Word.  However when we add the word document it lists all the screenshots as attachments.  Is there not an easier way you can just drag and drop your word doc and not have all these screenshots.  Do you have to make a template for every document?

Are you just trying to paste the Word doc in? Are you using the import function?

If you use the later, the images will appear in the page, but will also be listed as attachements. That is just how Confluence works.

Or are you seeing some other issue?
