Atlassian policy regarding commenting on the documentation

I get the impression that I have been blacklisted from posting comments in the Confluence documentation after a comment I made about the way drafts are handled. Is it a matter of Atlassian policy to silence critics after responding to their posts? Mentioning @hans-peter.geier, who apparently had the last word on the matter.

It is not about blacklisting anyone. Here is a formal explanation from Atlassian: http://blogs.atlassian.com/2015/04/closing-comments-documentation/

PS: I liked the comments though wink And I am sure Atlassian is listening to the feedback.

Ah, I see. Thank you for the response!

So perhaps my comment was one of the last to be posted before commenting was turned off. That's rather unfortunate, because I was hoping to explain why the response from Hans-Peter would not have worked in my case, and that feedback could perhaps help Atlassian to make Confluence into an even better product.

Worth raising it as a feature in the tracker instead?

My experience of Atlassian over the last eleven years is that they don't silence external critics. Unless the criticism is just plain offensive, and even then rarely. And they would definitely communicate with you if they did something like that. The first value at https://www.atlassian.com/company/about/values
